Did you know that you can use your Battlegraph Boards to create a scrolling battle map that keeps the action centered on the table? You can, and it will help keep the map from taking over the table during the game.
This is how you do it.
Start with as many boards you would like to track your battles. I use 9, giving me a 3×3 configuration. Map put your dungeon or encounter scene. (You can do this ahead of time, but we will cover that next month.) As the adventure moves to the edge of the map, you pull boards from the explored portion and move them forward. Erase the old details and keep mapping! As you continue, you will have to slide the entire map to stay centered on the table. You can do this with Battlegraph Boards because they are locked together when you slide, yet still separate easily when you lift them. You never have to run out of map again!
